Continuing with last week’s theme of a wide-body aircraft on a short-haul route, I have this flight from 2022, where I flew from Miami to New York on a 777.
This flight was at the tail-end of COVID restrictions, so international travel had not fully rebounded yet, but travel between the Northeast and Florida definitely had. American was flying wide-bodies a couple times per day to keep up with demand, which meant that I could get a lie-flat seat for the ~3 hour flight. This flight actually marked the first time that I had flown this product on an AA 777-200, so that was also fun!
