Wednesday Reblog: British Airways Club Europe Helsinki to London

For this week’s Wednesday reblog, I decided to continue the “routes British Airways no longer flies” theme, with this Club Europe flight from Helsinki to London. Currently, this route is still heavily served by Finnair, including with widebody aircraft even. Pre-pandemic, this route was still very heavily served by Finnair but also served once per day by British Airways. Back in the day, Helsinki to London (with a connection to Manchester in my case) was very often a great way to earn BA tier points because the fares were pretty reasonable (especially to Manchester) and you’d earn 120 tier points, which is almost as many as you earned with a flight from London to San Francisco in Club World (which probably cost 5-8x as much).

So please enjoy one of my first ever posts and see how far the blog has come in 6 years!
