Last week’s reblog was about British Airways’ Club Suite back in 2020, so I thought that this week it’d be fun to reblog my 2022 First Class flight from London to San Jose!
British Airways unfortunately no longer serves this route, which I guess is fair because serving SFO with a 777 and an A380 and then SJC with just a 787 doesn’t seem like the most optimal use of resources every day. At the time, this flight was a great deal because it only cost around 10 000 Avios more than Club World and came with an extra checked bag, which was pretty important since I was moving! This still holds the record for the most baggage that I’ve needed to check by myself (three bags, one oversized bag, a carry-on and a backpack). It was quite a lot.
